I’m reading a beautiful book called Man’s Search for Meaning. The classic tribute to hope from the Holocaust. The author, Viktor Frankl was an Austrian neurologist and psychiatrist. He survived the Holocaust. The lessons he shares in this book are especially poignant in the times we are in. He says: “Humour is the soul’s weapon in…… Continue reading A book recommendation for the times we’re in

Books, ideas, stories, and concepts I return to – not as answers, but as companions for thinking, questioning, and making sense of the world.
A personal update from me during Corona times
First and foremost, I hope you, your family, and loved ones are safe and well. 🙏 I’m in London, in our apartment, with husband. We cancelled all travel plans, we closed our hair and beauty salon, and we’re prepared to hunker down inside for the next 6-12 weeks, or as long as needed. We are determined to…… Continue reading A personal update from me during Corona times
Never underestimate the power of altitude
Our journey through the Himalyas was a transformational one in many ways. I’ve written here extensively about some of the cultural, historical and spiritual lessons we’ve learnt. It’s now time to address the physical side of the story: life at high altitude. I’ve read books and guides on how to prepare, but I wish I…… Continue reading Never underestimate the power of altitude

It’s time to re-define who I…… Continue reading Language coaching, teaching, training – re-defining what I do

Healing
To wind down after a busy and long day, my husband and I love watching films based on true stories and also documentaries on Netflix. The one that had the most impact on me was probably Heal. It features stories from spiritual leaders, physicians and those with chronic illnesses, revealing the powerful connection between mind, body, soul and health.
What a year it’s been …
2018 was full of ups and downs, challenges and successes, surprises and disappointments, sad and joyous moments, and the occasional overwhelm. I’ve not really had any goals or plans that I stuck to. I let most things evolve spontaneously, went with the flow and listened to my intuition. My highlights from 2018: Seeing my clients…… Continue reading What a year it’s been …
World Teachers’ Day
“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” /Albert Einstein/ On this #WorldTeachersDay, I’m grateful for all the teachers, mentors, coaches, colleagues, supporters I’ve had and continue to have – including my clients who all teach me, inspire me, keep me on my toes and empower me…… Continue reading World Teachers’ Day
