It is your responsibility to find your target market

Many fellow language professionals are opposed to marketing. They think it is something pushy or scammy. I get it. But the kind of marketing I like is very different. Not pushy, not spammy, not salesy.

There are so many wonderful language professionals I know who have an amazing service on offer, yet they struggle to find clients and make a sale. In the seventh episode of Marketing Nuggets, I explain what should be the right marketing mindset to let your voice be heard easily by the right audience.

Imagine this: If you knew the cure for cancer, would you have any hesitation to market it? To beat the drum for it? Or would you just sit and wait, expecting people to come and find you? Of course you wouldn’t. So let’s not be this ignorant. There are people out there who need you, so show up for them.

Listen to the episode here to find out more:

Once you’ve had a chance to listen, let me know in the comments below:

  • Are you showing up for the people who need you?
  • Do you find it hard to market your business?

I look forward to hearing your voice on this one.
