So Gabi, what exactly do you do then?

German & Hungarian Language Coach, Marketing & Communication Strategist, Author, Blogger, Entrepreneur – that’s what you’d find on my business card today.

Some people say that it’s perhaps a little too much. Well, I tend to disagree :)

I am indeed a multi-passionate individual, and I do love doing every single bit of the above list, enjoying a really rich and diverse path.

The Language Coach

Firstly, I’m a teacher – or rather, a ‘language coach’ as I like to call myself (I explained here why), running my own independent tuition business in London UK and online. I teach German & Hungarian – two languages I’ve been lucky enough to have grown up with, and do mainly corporate lessons in the City of London as well as online via Skype.

My dear students come from all walks of life, but generally speaking, they are all professionals who need a highly personalised tuition experience with a special focus on their business or personal needs. I love them to bits and learn as much from them as they do from me – but I get paid, ha! :)

Marketing & Communication Strategist

A relatively newly found passion of mine is marketing. If you think that teaching and marketing are two completely different things, let me prove you wrong (in this blog post). I’ve always loved writing and twisting words and finding the best way to get one’s point across. Little did I know until January 2015 that marketing was just that:

Communicating effectively who you are and what you do, what your business stands for and how it serves customers.

Finding the right way to engage your potential and existing customers and writing compelling copy both on- and offline is not an easy task for many business owners, but an essential one if you want to stand out from the crowd.

In my other business venture, I do just that:

Create a clear marketing strategy for small and medium sized businesses and then turn it into action:

I write website copy, landing pages, newsletters, Social Media updates, blog and magazine articles, product and services descriptions, ads as well as offline marketing materials like brochures, leaflets, price lists and much more – basically anything that needs to address customers through text/copy.

Who do I write for? I provide copywriting services for SMEs whose passion and vision I share and whose products and services address and serve a genuine need of people. If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn, you may spot me posting about the projects I’m working on, clients I’m  and get a glimpse of the companies I collaborate with. They are truly amazing!

Copy is short for ‘Copywriting’.
It refers to any words you use each and every day to communicate and persuade.
It’s all the words you use in your business.

Communication strategist: What’s that? 2 things. Firstly, a business needs to communicate their vision, what they do and what products and services they offer effectively – that’s marketing and communication.
On the other hand, it’s also essential for a business owner to share this vision with their staff, internally, so that they stand behind and get on board. That’s internal communication. I’ve delivered trainings for employees of SMEs on assertive communication and conflict solving in order to improve their working environment and make the business a happier place which in turn has tremendous benefits on the bottom line of course.

Author, Blogger, Entrepreneur … is there anything else?

Author – Yes, indeed. I’m working on a book called ‘Step up and take responsibility’ – a book about the importance of taking responsibility for your health, wealth and happiness, with loads of personal insights and lessons I’ve learnt that I feel I need to share with the world. One of my dear students who happens to come from Essex just calls this book ‘Grow a pear’ – I may use this as a second title, although I’m not sure many people outside Essex would understand :) If you do, please do leave a comment below ;)

Blogger: You’re reading one of my posts right now, so not much explanation needed …

Entrepreneur: To sum it all up, this should probably be the right word to use. A multi-passionate entrepreneur who runs multiple businesses, does what she loves and loves what she does. Genuinely. Honestly.

I’m a passionate advocate of doing business to serve a genuine need of people and create your own success by contribution, giving back, and making a real difference to the world.

Act. Communicate. Create.

Love,
